I am a Licensed Clinical Social worker committed to creating a safe and affirming space for
individuals navigating life's challenges.

With over 20 years dedicated to helping others, I am a proud mom, wife, and therapist committed
to fostering healing and growth. My personal journey through fertility issues to becoming a
mother has provided invaluable insights into the complexities of family planning and
parenthood. My personal experiences as a partner and parent have deepened my understanding of
the complexities of life and relationships. When I'm not immersed in the rewarding work of
therapy, I enjoy exploring new cultures, cheering on my favorite college basketball teams, and
spending quality time with loved ones.

I offer a non-judgmental environment where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and
experiences without fear of criticism. Together, we can work collaboratively to develop strategies
for overcoming challenges and building a fulfilling life. With a specialized focus on, trauma
perinatal mental health, and LGBTQ+ affirming care, I offer compassionate support and
evidence-based treatment to help you heal and thrive

My therapeutic toolbox includes evidence-based modalities such as Eye Movement
Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to address the impact of trauma, and Motivational
Interviewing to support you in building motivation and making positive changes in your life. I
believe in a holistic approach to healing, incorporating mind, body, and spirit to foster overall
well-being.

My therapeutic style is tailored to meet your unique needs, focusing on fostering self-awareness,
resilience, and personal growth. I am committed to providing a supportive and empowering
therapeutic alliance. Seeking support is a sign of strength, not weakness. You deserve to live a happy and
fulfilling life.

Bio:
A lifelong Hoosier with 22 years of experience calling Chicago home, I bring a unique
perspective to my therapy practice. Growing up in Indiana instilled in me strong Midwestern
values of compassion and community, while my time in Chicago exposed me to the vibrant
diversity of urban life.

With a Bachelor of Social Work from Ball State University and a Master of Social Work from the
University of Illinois at Chicago, I have dedicated my career to supporting individuals on their
paths to healing and well-being. My professional experience includes roles at Loyola University,

Gildas Club Chicago, and Community Health Network, where I have had the privilege of
working with a variety of populations and addressing a wide range of mental health concerns.
As a proud mother and wife, I understand the complexities of modern life and the importance of
balance. My personal journey through fertility challenges has deepened my empathy and ability
to connect with clients facing similar struggles.

I believe in creating a warm and supportive therapeutic environment where individuals can feel

safe to explore their emotions and develop coping strategies. My approach is grounded in
empathy, compassion, and evidence-based practices.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who is committed to creating a space where individuals feel safe and supported to deal with life’s challenges, in a cost-effective manner.

With over 20 years in the mental health field and 15 years as a therapist, I specialize in supporting individuals aged 15 and older as they navigate life's challenges. Holding a Bachelor of Science in Recreational Therapy and a Master's in Social Work, both from Indiana University, I offer compassionate and effective treatment for PTSD, anxiety, and depression. My therapeutic approach combines EMDR, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, tailored to each client's unique needs. By emphasizing strengths and building resilience, I partner with clients to overcome obstacles and achieve lasting well-being. While my primary focus is on adults, I am open to working with younger adolescents on a case-by-case basis with consultation.

People describe me as compassionate, patient, dedicated, and hardworking. As a therapist, I believe in meeting clients where they are and providing gentle support and guidance as they embark on their healing journey. Outside of my practice, I find joy in camping, spending time with family, reading, and crocheting. Summer farmer's markets are a favorite pastime. My personal experience of building a blended family has given me a unique perspective on the challenges and rewards of navigating complex family dynamics. I am passionate about supporting individuals and families in finding their own paths to harmony. Additionally, I am a dedicated supporter of the Indiana First Robotics program, volunteering my time to encourage STEM education and inspire young minds.
